The pandemic has caused great changes in the work environment: teleworking, partial unemployment, complexity of interactions with colleagues, with customers, workload less well distributed over time or between employees, ... Employees have very diverse reactions vis-à-vis these changes. Some dream of continuing to work at home, others cannot stay at home. In both cases, they live significant tensions or gaps.

In cases where employees are really confronted with their limit, coaching is a powerful accompaniment. Indeed, it makes it possible to transform a difficult experience into a learning process. The customer will explore and discover his levers and resources to develop a new sustainable resilience.


What positions for the coach in this kind of situation?

There are several ways for a coach to position themselves in the accompaniment of these stress situations and malaise at work. (Non-exhaustive list)


1. Human Resources Service

The coach can offer its services to companies of a certain size via their "Well-being at Work" or Human Resources Department. A diagnosis mission can be followed by individual support from some of the company members.


2. Accompanying entrepreneurs and leaders

The coach can be made known via network events, specialized social networks for professionals, business clubs, nurseries, incubators, and other business centers. It offers its services via the channels of these network centers or operators. It provides a specialized service for entrepreneurs and leaders who live in a reduction in the mutations of the work world.


3. Individual accompaniment

The coach can be positioned by social networks and attractive pages to attract an individual from individuals to whom the company will not pay a coaching. Well coaches offered free sessions during confinement. It was a way of making themselves known even though, to our knowledge, the approach did not meet a great success. Positioning is more difficult to hold because the market offers plethora of solutions for individuals: sports, physical and energy practices, group sessions, ...


4. Physician prescriptions

There are coaches that make themselves known doctors, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and other health practitioners to offer their service. Once convinced, these practitioners become prescribers for individual quality support.


Conclusion

The coach is a strong partner that helps pass through difficult or chaotic transitions. Its role is to stimulate the resilience of the customer so that he/she develops his own revenues and new habits more adapted to today's world.

The world is filled with resources and coach is valuable support for harvesting them. Today, more than ever, people are aware of the importance of their well-being and make it a priority.
